Love the Lakes specialises in locally sourced lifestyle products designed and, for the most part, made in Cumbria, home of the English Lake District.
In the Lake District there are many excellent producers and retailers of food and farmers’ markets occur all around the region. However, Cumbria is also home to a growing number of entrepreneurial artisans, making lovely products, often inspired by their beautiful surroundings and, where possible, using locally sourced materials.
We found it incredible that these life-enhancing luxuries were not more widely stocked amongst the many shops in the Lakes and so the idea for Love the Lakes was born.
Our range is vast and encompasses yummy jams, chutneys, relishes, sauces and cakes, real ales and tasty liqueurs, hand-made and organic soaps and lotions, soft throws, cushions, Kirkstone slate boards, fabulous fragranced candles, reed diffusers, unusual jewellery, gorgeous children’s mirrors and clocks and funky ceramics. Gifts for gardeners, walkers, children, for him, for her are plentiful, together with gift boxes and bags for that special finishing touch.
